Mads Kollar is a one-woman-show clothing brand by Maddie Bevacqua (me). Mads comes from Maddie (duh) and Kollar is my mother’s maiden name (which I use because I hate the patriarchy).

I make clothes because I don't like the fashion industry's significant impact on planet or the many human welfare issues it perpetuates. So, with sustainability being my priority, I make all of my clothes from secondhand fabrics and I don't let a scrap go to waste. However, the working conditions in my factory (my bedroom) are subpar.
